The presenters and characters from Cyw will be putting on shows and making appearances throughout the day at the Park. Joining Cyw will be presenters Huw and Catrin, as well as Dona Direidi, and Seren and Lobs from Asra and other characters such as Sali Mali and Sam Tân.

The little ones are welcome to join in the fun dancing in the Cyw shows, or they can take part in the Cyw’s Easter Egg Hunt that will be there on that day.

Easter Eggstravaganza

SeaQuarium Rhyl will be celebrating will be celebrating eggs of a very different variety, with a host of exciting activities dedicated to the huge array of weird and wonderful eggs found in our oceans.

Take your little Eggsplorers along and help find the eggs that have gone missing deep in the tanks. For those who are clever enough to crack the Easter password in the Eggsplorers Trail will win a yummy treat.

Plus, there will be a chance for you to make your very own Easter Bonnet in the Eggsplorers Craft Club.

Easter Dragon Egg Hunt

Where: Gwrych Castle Gardens, Abergele

Run through muddy woodlands, around the mystical Gwrych Castle and along nature trails on the castle’s Dragon Egg Hunt. There will be various dragon nests throughout the castle gardens with life size eggs inside!

Follow the clues left by our dragon explorers through the gardens, tracking down the nests and find the dragon eggs. But beware, the dragon and its mischievous keeper are on the loose. What’s more, everyone will be rewarded with a delicious treat at the end of the Dragon Egg Hunt.

You will have an hour to complete your quest to claim you reward before the dragon returns...

After your Dragon Egg Hunt, join us at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party where there’ll be refreshments, face-painting, and craft activities galore.

And every time you head out on a Dragon Egg Hunt, you’ll help fund vital conservation work to restore Gwrych Castle for future generations to enjoy.

Red squirrel fun

Danger Detective Quest

Easter Medieval Weekend

Where: Beaumaris Castle

Beaumaris Castle welcomes House of the Black Star medieval society, who will recreate life in the castle as it was back in the heyday of the castles.

Children can come along and take part in special knight schools where they will enjoy a spear drill, try on some armour and see how archers defended and attacked the castles back in medieval times. There will be lots of crafts and demonstrations of medieval life, and birds of prey to see.

Watch and shout for your favourite knight as they battle in the fight arena. Who will prevail to victory?

Easter Holidays ‘Mum and Egg’ Quiz Trail

Where: RSPB Conwy, Llandudno Junction

Cost: £1 plus normal admission fee

Do you know what colour the eggs of a Robin are? What creature lays eggs like a jelly bean? Who can smell with their feet? Try the RSPB ‘Mum and Egg’ Easter quiz trail and collect your reward.

This family fun quiz trail is available every day until Sun 23rd April, just pick up a £1 quiz sheet before you go and explore the trails. You can check your answers when you come back to the visitor centre and pick up your prize.

The trail may take approx half an hour to complete if you are walking and enjoying the trails at a relaxed pace. No need to book, just drop in on the day.

Live Science shows

Every day during the school Easter break there will be live science shows being presented at Techniquest Glyndŵr - the family friendly science museum in Wrexham.

Bubbles and Bangs is the theme - pop along to see bubbles of all shapes and sizes including one so big a person can stand inside it! Then cover your ears for some spectacular bangs.

There are also over 75 interactive science exhibits included in the admission price.

The Easter Bunny has hopped over the Menai Strait to visit the red squirrels.
