Prince George affectionately refers to his dad, Prince William, as "Papa," a term of endearment he used during the VE Day Commemorations this past weekend. The nation poured out in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day earlier in the month.

In a grand display of remembrance, thousands assembled along The Mall to catch a glimpse of the Royals and witness an awe-inspiring flypast above Buckingham Palace. The aerial spectacle showcased classic warplanes alongside modern marvels like the Eurofighter Typhoon, accompanied by the iconic Red Arrows.

Perched prominently on the palace balcony were key Royal Family members, marking their first public appearance together following Prince Harry's poignant BBC interview. Future monarchs Prince William and Prince George stood tall with Princess Kate, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

During this visit, William mentioned George's interest in veterans and their welfare, as reported by LBC. Discussing the matter with Hello!, Royal commentator Emily Nash noted that this visit marked a significant moment in the 11 year old's ongoing training to become a future monarch.

She commented: "It was a lovely surprise to see Prince George joining the King and Queen and his parents for the veterans tea party at the Palace. "It's a big moment for him as second-in-line to the throne and one he will remember for many years to come.

"Both William and Catherine have expressed their wish to educate their children about major historical events, such as the Holocaust, so this is another opportunity for them to bridge the gap between the wartime generation and their own next generation."

Outside of official duties, William and George have been seen enjoying quality time in more casual settings, like Aston Villa football matches, including their team's recent match against PSG in the Champions League.

Commenting on their attendance at the game, William emphasised how crucial it was for him that they got to experience the match together.

He expressed: "You know what, it's been 43 years since anything like this has happened in my generation as a Villa fan, and I want George to experience a night out away from home in a big European competition.
